Positively Dance Company is a dance studio that focuses on teaching dance using only positive teaching methods. Our curriculums and teaching style have been specifically designed using positive psychology to motivate dancers to try their best while maintaining self-esteem and confidence.  Our philosophy is that dancers dance their best when they feel good about themselves, therefore, we try to create an environment where our students always feel validated, acknowledged, and supported. PDC provides dancers with an environment that nurtures their self-image and enhances their love of dance.

Everyone has a natural unique style of dancing! Each and every student is unique and amazing exactly as they are! Dance is a subjective art form and PDC simply provides dancers with the confidence, technique and fundamentals of different dance styles, so that our students have the tools to be able to express themselves through dance while having fun in the process.

*Due to COVID-19, PDC is only providing online ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical/contemporary, and yoga classes. Normally acro and stretch and strength would be taught along with the dance styles listed above and they would be held in person in Milton, Ontario and in Markham, Ontario. Details regarding Covid-19 updates and the times/locations of the in-person dance classes will be posted on the main page of this website and will be further discussed via email.
